501(c)(3) CHARITY STATUS - TAX DEDUCTABILITY

The MLD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and tax exempt organization per IRS code. Your donation is fully tax deductible. Please let us know if you need our EIN or a copy of our IRS determination letter.

MATCHING DONATIONS

We are happy to participate in matching gift programs sponsored by your employer. This can double or triple your gift! Please send us the paperwork that is required to request the matching gifts. You can check to see of your company participates in a matching gifts program by clicking here. If they are not listed ask them anyhow!.

MEMORIAL & IN-HONOR-OF DONATIONS

If donating to honor a specific individual or family please send us an email after you donate with the honoree/memorial name and address so we can let the family know that you donated. We only let them know that you donated, not how much you donated. The Network for Good button, below, has a place to enter the person/family you are donating in honor of. But they do charge us an extra fee for this service so an email works for us if it works for you!

RECEIPTS

Online donations will result in an immediate receipt from the payment processor. In addition, for gifts over $10, the MLD Foundation will send a receipt via US Mail.

Checks over $10 will be acknowledged with a written receipt via US Mail.

These receipts are compliant with the IRS documentation requirements.
